Markets have historically posted gains during wartime, including double-digit increases during both Gulf Wars within 3 to 6 months of the onset. The defence sector has typically led during these periods.

A big misconception about Wright is that I run the show all alone. Yes, I’m the most visible voice. I’m out there talking, writing, explaining what we do. But what actually happens on the ground is very different from that perception. The truth is, Wright Research (@ResearchWright) is built on a set of very strong pillars. People who take ownership, make decisions, and push things forward every single day, often without visibility. And honestly, I haven’t given them enough credit publicly. For those who’ve interacted closely with us, this won’t be surprising. It’s been clear for a while that Siddharth and Siddhart run the show. I’m happy to finally make that official. Siddharth S. Bhaisora (@SiddBhaisora ) is now Co-founder at Wright Research. He has been the driving force behind growth, marketing, content, and compliance. But more importantly, he has shaped how Wright Research is perceived and trusted in the market. From building our inbound engine through PR, content, and distribution to structuring how leads are handled and converted, Siddharth has been central to our growth. He has worked closely on positioning our offerings, refining our messaging for different investor segments, and ensuring consistency across everything we put out, including client communications, the website, and our media presence. He also plays a key role in compliance and regulatory alignment, ensuring we stay clean and structured as we scale. Internally, he has been instrumental in coordinating between sales, product, and research, ensuring that what we promise externally actually matches what we deliver. In many ways, he connects growth, trust, and execution. Siddhart Agarwal (@iamagarwala) is now Founding Head of Strategy & Operations. He is the one who turns ideas into execution. Strategy at Wright isn’t just about what we should do; it’s about how it actually gets executed, tracked, and improved. Siddhart also drives business development and partnerships, and is exceptional at negotiation. Whether it’s closing institutional relationships, working through complex deal structures, or aligning incentives across stakeholders, Siddhart brings a sharp, practical edge that moves things forward. One of the biggest lessons from Stanford Seed (@StanfordSeed) was this. And we all participated in it together. You don’t build a company by being the smartest person in the room. You build it by creating a team that shares context, takes ownership, and can operate without constant supervision. Real leverage comes from distributed thinking, not central control. And that shift is uncomfortable. It means letting go. It means accepting that outcomes are no longer entirely “yours.” But that’s exactly what allows something to scale beyond you. What we’re building at Wright Research is no longer dependent on one person. And that’s the point. Grateful to have a team that doesn’t just execute, but thinks, challenges, and builds alongside me. This is just the beginning.
