🔧 The addition of Screen Space Global Illumination (SSGI) in #Restitched allows glowing objects and emissive textures to create semi-realistic lighting 💡 that bounces off surfaces, simulating point lights with almost no extra processing cost. 🚧 In this video, no true light sources are used. This makes it a useful technique for adding many extra decorative "lights" in one area without tanking performance! ⚠️ However, like with all "screen space effects", lighting cannot be calculated when the source is off-screen and some artifacts/noise can appear, especially on lower settings. @lyeuhm Not yet, unfortunately! For now our focus is on reaching the Beta stage and hosting more playtests. Then we’ll have a much better idea of release plans. 💖 Restitched is a very ambitious game and we’re only hobbyists, but lots of progress is happening each month. 🥰 Hang tight!

@RestitchedGame Take your time and don't worry about rushing it. We would prefer a finished game rather than a broken and rushed one. There's plenty to play while we wait for the masterpiece that your team is crafting 🙏 dont rush it please That being said, I'll be playing ON release date
