@officialsammyuk If the government does not arrest people for offending some religion, the prisons will not be crowded, then we do not need this seemingly unfair act. They don’t fix the root causes , and make the system better for serious criminals.

Due to the Sentencing Act 2026, Arshid Hussain – the man who abducted and raped me as a child, and who did the same to dozens of other children – is being considered for early release. He was sentenced to 35 years in prison in early 2017 and was described as one of the most dangerous men in the UK. He was later convicted of further offences. His brother, Basharat Hussain, is also being considered for release. I honestly can’t put into words how disgusted I am with the British government.

A huge congratulations to Victoria Culf and our friends at Christian Concern and the Christian Legal Centre. Victoria was removed from her own exhibition and falsely told she was being investigated for a hate crime after expressing concerns about children being encouraged to transition. Three years later, Watford Borough Council has settled the case, agreed it would work with Victoria again, and reaffirmed its commitment to freedom of thought, conscience, religion and expression. What a fabulous win for women! For Women Scotland has just triumphed in the Court of Session, with Lady Ross ruling the Scottish Prison Service’s 2024 policy on placing transgender prisoners UNLAWFUL. No more twisting the law to put males into female prisons on a “case-by-case” basis. Biological sex is back where it belongs; as the clear legal boundary for single-sex spaces. This is a massive victory for the safety and dignity of vulnerable women in prison. No woman should ever be forced to share accommodation, showers, or intimate spaces with male prisoners, regardless of how they identify. Huge congratulations to For Women Scotland, their brilliant legal team, and every woman who refused to stay silent. Evidence-based policy over ideology. Common sense restored. Within a week of the magnificent work of River Roding Trust volunteers completing the arduous work of restoring 250 metres of the Aldersbrook this winter, EA investigators had been down to the site and rattled off a letter threatening us with prosecution for doing the work without a permit. This is despite the fact that the Trust have repeatedly asked the EA to do this vital work on the Aldersbrook themselves & they have refused. It is also despite the fact that they have not investigated the huge illegal sewage outlet on the Cranbrook a few hundred metres away, which illegally discharges 750,000,000 litres of raw sewage straight into the River Roding every year.

Henry Nowak’s death exposed something rotten. A young man lay dying in the street, yet the police did not appear to treat him as the victim he clearly was.
