@CescThings @barneyronay @tomrenniesoccer Arsenal v Man U at the start of the season...can you tell me that the way Arsenal behave at corners is within the rules. AFC fans moaned that Rice should be player of season but he just cheats all the time! Look at yesterday! He can't do that in WC as refs will give pens!

Felt soft at the time. Looking back he grabbed his arm. So it’s just a foul and that’s that. No idea why shay given kept calling it “controversial“ on match of the day, other than being a bad tv analyst theguardian.com/football/2026/…

@CescThings @barneyronay @tomrenniesoccer WHU didn't do what rice etc did. Having hands on a keeper happens all the time but for some reason they decided to penalise it this time. You have to feel sorry for WHU tbh. PGMOL need to start reffing corners properly. It's made the PL a farce..Doesn't happen in CL etc

@RickD64 @barneyronay @tomrenniesoccer Grabbing of players happen at all corners now. If you’d check Arsenal corners yesterday, you’d see West Ham doing the same thing. Holding the keeper is still considered a foul, which Pablo did.

@barneyronay @tomrenniesoccer In the CL AFC benefited when Greizman not awarded a pen as ref belive a foul had just happened on Gabriel (?). So, surely the right call is goal ruled out but a pen for WHU as several AFC players (Trossard/Rice etc) were committing fouls on WHU players before the Raya foul.

@tomrenniesoccer look, what you're saying is you don't like the way the game is reffed and feel goalies get away with too much. I agree with that as a personal choice. but it's a separate agument, one that doesn't change what the rules are now. and this guy has applied them correctly

@elRegiosan @adoba95 @NorthBankNadim What nonsense! There will always be an asterisk against whoever wins this season...its been the worst level of football the PL has ever seen

@elRegiosan @adoba95 @NorthBankNadim It was such a clear foul that it took VAR 5 minutes to decide! LoL...Raya just misjudged it..Arsenal have scored several corners where they manhandle the ref. City would have already won the league if PGMOL had reffed corners in the same way as they do in the CL.

🚨🎙️| Joe Hart on West Ham’s disallowed equalizer vs Arsenal, accuses VAR of saving Arsenal’s title hopes: 🗣️“Listen, I don’t care what anyone says, that goal should’ve stood. VAR has absolutely ruined moments like that. West Ham fought for that equalizer and somehow they’ve found a way to disallow it for the softest little touch you’ll ever see. If that’s Arsenal scoring at the Emirates, nobody even checks it for more than five seconds. And this is what frustrates fans, Arsenal have lived off those scrappy, aggressive goals all season. Blocking keepers, crowding the six-yard box, little nudges here and there… suddenly when it happens against them, it’s ‘clear and obvious.’ Give me a break. I was a goalkeeper, I know when a keeper’s genuinely impeded and when he’s looking for help. There’s no way you can tell me that was enough contact for the goal to be overturned. The game’s gone soft. West Ham have been robbed, simple as that. You wonder why fans think certain clubs get favourable decisions because moments like this keep happening. Arsenal are in a title race and somehow every 50/50 call seems to land their way. That equalizer changes the whole atmosphere of the game and VAR bottled it. Absolutely bottled it.”

“Arsenal have been blocking the opponent’s goalkeeper all season long, they would NEVER be on top of the league if we disallow these goals!” Peter Schmeichel thank you for calling them out. have your cheating title VARSENAL. 👏

@Rory_Talks_Ball It is a foul but Arsenal have been doing far worse all season and also do you think that Rice committed a penalty by wrestling a player to the ground with 2 arms around him...

A goal ruled out for the very thing their title challenge has been built on could end up winning them the league. Football has become irony personified.

No Question About That
That is disgusting. Worst Premier League title winners ever. Utterly shit football team. Turn every game into rugby and then to win it because of a foul in the box on their keeper. You couldn't make it up. Cancel the league.

Arsenal have been crowding goalies for 18 months. If they give that as a foul it's corrupt

@adoba95 @NorthBankNadim When have Man City been done for cheating? City aren't the best team if they don't win the league but they play the best football and don't rely on PGMOL to help them win..

@NorthBankNadim If that game yesterday was Arsenal va Brentford with the same decision the world would be calling Arsenal corrupt cheats. When it’s City they celebrate the win. Sums up the human race and their mentality

@AT_BS7 @themagic_tophat Rival fans care alot about City....every football fan wants City to save football and stop Arsenal winning the PL...it would kill the reputation of the PL.

@themagic_tophat The reason city gets away with it because no rival fan cares and they ignore the incident. With any slight moment during Arsenal match, you'd see all the rival fans and even non rival fans plaster over x for clicks.
