I arrived at the LA Times straight out of j-school in 2003 for what was supposed to be a 6-week summer internship. Nearly 22 years and a whole lot of words later, I've decide to leave the paper at the end of the week. It's been a wild, fulfilling ride. Excited for what's next.

This is from the NYT photo team, and NYT security is the first to run out the door to help - can't thank the security guys enough for all the work they do. What's happening in Irpin is horrific and clearly direct targeting of civilians trying to flee.
