Love this for the Giants. Sucks the Dexter situation got to where it did but getting pick 10 is such good value. Giants can really bolster the defense now.

Draft week blockbuster: The Giants are trading three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence to the Bengals in a deal that will include the 10th overall pick going to New York, per ESPN sources. The Giants now head into Thursday night with the 5th and 10th overall picks.

I speak for all of us when I say it’s time that at least Divison I heads towards collective bargaining and contracts when it comes to NIL deals. Clauses for coach departures and university sanctions to allow a transfer from that moment. This complete wiping of rosters year after year is getting old.

The NCAA is expected to finalize an expansion of the men’s and women’s tournaments to 76 teams soon after the completion of this year’s March Madness tournament, per Yahoo Sports' @RossDellenger. Barring something unforeseen, “it will happen,” a high-placed source told Dellenger. The proposal would add eight games to the First Four, with 24 teams playing in an opening round before advancing into the second round.

Shepherd guard Marcus Banks has announced he has committed to The Citadel, per his social media. Banks earned his first All-PSAC 1st team selection this past season averaging 18.5 points a game.
