Democrats have as much if not more to blame for further distancing their party from the middle.
Trump had already lost, he won his second term because the alternatives were so extreme on the progressive side that no one with even a touch of conservativism would even think about voting democratic. If you can’t see this then you’re likely part of the problem.

My kids aren’t allowed to have candy on Easter or Halloween.

If they are good all day they get flavored yogurt (normally get regular) as a bedtime snack.

I get the conservatism and don’t necessarily disagree but some changes are for the better imo.
Also, people act like Baseball hasn’t chaged over the years but it has. That’s why there are 7 defined eras.
