The Deadpool & Wolverine/Mario Galaxy’s are the enemy, if anything. Those are the stuff come at the expense of more Project Hail Marys. There’s 100 of them that point to bigger Hollywood issues

Even if you think Mickey 17 is imperfect, surely you can’t think that it points to an industry problem? Maybe not up to the quality levels, but Mickey 17 is more in the Sinners/One Battle blockbuster camp of auteur driven blockbusters that we should encourage

"Fans" aren't entitled to access to artists no matter if they're 8 or 80. Regardless of the validity of his story, Chappell Roan has been a target ever since she stood up for herself at the 2024 VMAs.

Brazilian footballer Jorginho says Chappell Roan’s security guard spoke to his wife and daughter in an “extremely aggressive manner” while they were staying at the same hotel as the singer. He said his daughter recognized Chappell and “simply walked past the singer’s table” to confirm it was her, prompting the security guard to approach their table and tell his wife she shouldn’t allow her daughter to “disrespect” or “harass” other people. He added that the guard said he would file a complaint with the hotel.

The guts of Ryan Coogler to write and pitch a Rocky movie to Stallone at 28 years old and then get it made and have it be an immediate all timer is something I think about a ton. Guy is really, really special
