Thanks to our hard core of litter pickers who turned out on a cold January morning to help keep the neighbourhood streets clean and litter free.

Almost time for the first litter pick of 2026. Saturday 10 January - meet at the usual place by the SHRA bench at Wellesley Parade at 9am - we pick for an hour in and around the centre of Strawberry Hill village. New pickers welcome but wear shoes with some grip as it may be icy.

We went ahead with Carols in the Village last night despite the weather. The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Clare Vollum opened the event. Richmond Brass Band played heroically through the wind and rain. Special thanks to our chief organiser, June Collins, and to all our sponsors.
