@autcareandshare It may sound old fashioned but a notebook with a list works for me. The act of actually writing something down helps your memory. Either that or take photos as you are putting the items away.

To celebrate Ryan's 30th in December I've booked a Christmas wonderland experience at Butlins for 7 days, there are still some Christmas items on sale so ive started buying Christmas clothes for Ryan to wear when we go, like this jumper below, now I've just got to remember where I put everything.

Frockers, you all know I had to have injections into my eye to save my sight after suffering a blood clot. Well, it’s been two years since my last jab and today I have been discharged with healthy eyes and good vision. Thank you for your support on this journey! ♥️

Good morning all, im still undecided on what to do for Ryan's 30th birthday in December this year, I'd love to take Ryan on a cruise but a cruise in December means it may not stop at the various ports, which would upset Ryan, does anyone have any ideas, ideally all inclusive, im starting to favour a UK holiday as its so close to Christmas( birthday is the 9th)and I need to guarantee the entertainment for that time of year too. Thoughts please.

@CrazyVibes_1 Historically white was worn for mourning not weddings. Most women just wore their "best dress".

Hello girls, I'm being criticized for choosing to get married in pink, but this is an old dream, and now it's very close to my wedding date, I need your honest opinion. My future mother-in-law keeps saying pink is for little girls, that I'll regret it, that everyone will judge me. Been dreaming about a pink wedding dress since I was twelve, drew pictures of it in notebooks during class, imagined walking down an aisle covered in roses. Now it's six weeks away and she's in my head, making me doubt everything. Started this dress four months ago using Irish crochet lace techniques I learned from videos and a book I found on Hobby Lobby shop, from someone selling her grandmother's old craft collection. The thread alone cost me $160, but I found someone destashing mercerized cotton in this exact blush pink, which saved me probably another hundred dollars. Every motif attached by hand, hours of work while my fiancé sleeps and I question if I'm being ridiculous. He says he loves it, says pink suits me, says his mom's opinion shouldn't matter. But she's been married thirty years and I'm 28 making a dress out of thread because I can't afford the $3000 one I saw in the boutique. My hands shake when I work on the hem now, wondering if traditional white would've been safer, easier, less of a statement. But I've come this far. The mannequin wears it better than I will. The dress pattern is attached if anyone wants it, though I changed half of it anyway. Credit - Katie Thomson

Just finished @MadameGilflurt "The Wives of George IV" which my husband gave me for Christmas. Absolutely fascinating - in fact I read half of it on Christmas Day

@autcareandshare I suspect I have ADHD - certainly identify with lots of symptoms - when I was working and had to sit through a long meeting I found doodling helped as it gave my hands things to do while my brain listened to the meeting (mostly)

I may not have made a wreath for my door yet, but I have been busy creating a border for my latest embroidery. It’s a work in progress and there’s still a long way to go, but I’m busy stitching… 😉🪡🌿 I’ll try to keep you updated. 🌺#stitchedart #thesewingsongbird

We're talking about a third of all children in Scottish schools speaking a language other than English as their first language. Speak as many languages as you want, the more the better, but it's culturally concerning that their first language is not English when they live in the UK. I don't think this is unreasonable at all, it's eminently sensible in a cohesive society that you'd want children growing up in your country to speak the main language as their primary/first language.

These children may speak perfect English outside of the home - but to Reform, they're guilty of 'culture smashing'. The next election may be about politics of unity vs division. In singling out kids in this way, Farage risks taking Reform into a direction that few will follow.
Reform UK@reformparty_uk

Nearly 1 in 3 schoolchildren in Glasgow do not speak English as their first language. This is not diversity. This is culture smashing. Reform UK will make this a big issue in our campaign. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@autcareandshare Why do some people think their way of parenting is the only way that is "correct"? Your tales about Ryan regularly make me chuckle and have been known to tell my husband about what Ryan has been up to. So keep it up you have brought up 3 brilliant sons so you should be proud. 👏

Some of my tweets the tales of mischief that Ryan gets up to someone has taken very very seriously and has taken to flooding my emails with telling me how to be a parent, Ryan certainly is a mischievous young man , if you dont like anything I tweet just scroll past, no need wasting your energy with countless emails, a account full of the adventures of a mischievous young man clearly isnt for you.

Ryan won a award "Trivia Titan Award" at his daycentres black tie event, "in recognition of his knowledge and talents in all topics " he's never won a award before, never been to a black tie event before, and he never ever wears suits, oh he also had candy floss today for the first time ever too, autism hey, nothing happens ever for years , then everything happens all at once, today was a day for a lot of firsts. just because something has never happened doesn't mean it never will.

Ryan made this steam train themed advent calendar at his daycentre on the front of the train is the numbers 1 to 24 which you take off each day, and a lid on the train lifts up to reveal chocolates for the 25th day, he made this himself, and is rightfully very proud of it. 🚂

@autcareandshare You have my sympathy for changes. I remember when my son's after school club lost its insurance, luckily the school stepped in but he could only do reduced hours until his birthday and we lost the holiday club as well. You don't realise how fragile routines are!

I do lots of tweets or posts about daycentres and get lots of lovely positive comments about how good they are and they absolutely are amazing daycentres with the most amazing dedicated staff, i started researching daycentres way before we decided which ones to choose, we chose 2 i always get asked why did you choose two isnt this confusing for someone thats autistic wouldn't it be better to just have one daycentre, well yeah in a ideal world one daycentre would be great but we dont live in a ideal world we live in one where 1 in 3 daycentres (depending on area) get closed, so choosing 2 means double the research but if one closes Ryan has the established routine of the one while we choose another suitable daycentre, now i hear you shouting oh that was easy, and lucky for some, I fought the local authority and social services to get those days and the daycentres, and then i helped other parents to do the same, that was all a very long way of saying do you your research, nursery, school, college, university, or daycentre and everything in between and beyond,do your research.
