On my flight to Cleveland I was walking to the back of the plane (because I refuse to pay to selection a seat) & there was an aged and clearly rehabbing woman slowly walking down the aisle. It was clear she had just re-learned how to walk and was using each chair as handles bars. The flight attendant asked her if she’d like to sit up front and her response was “I’m doing just fine.” As her legs wobbled with each step she moved foot by foot and all I kept thinking about is how lucky I am. While I have a lot of things going on in my life that I wish I didn’t, this was a reminder that I’m blessed. I have pain, but I have my health. I have my down days, but I have my mind. I might be heartbroken, but I have my princess. Be thankful for life and its little joys.
