11 years a loyal Audi customer, always buying new. Now my car is confirmed unsafe to drive and I am left with no case handler, no courtesy car and no answers. Deeply disappointing. @AudiUK @AudiUKCare

@linnell_1 @AudiUK Interesting! Also had numerous issues with the ‘new’ Q5. I believe I was one of the first if not the first to have one in the U.K. after preordering months before they started actually building them and also had nothing but issues with mine including the seatbelts being faulty

@AudiUK I presume nobody at Audi UK is prepared to speak to me to deal with my Q5 issues that you have been notified about. The dealer also seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth when I have told them I want to reject the car that I had only had for 6 weeks

@HighwaysNWEST @LPL_Airport Over 7 hours to fix a drain cover that was supposedly fixed two weeks ago. Farcical and really badly managed!

@LPL_Airport These emergency manhole cover repairs are now complete, and all lanes have re-opened on the #M56 eastbound in #Cheshire within J12 (#Runcorn). SEVERE delays of 3 hours remain between the #A494 and J12 with 11 miles of congestion but this should now start to ease.

NEW INCIDENT #M56 eastbound within J12 #Runcorn @LPL_Airport LANES CLOSED 2 lanes (of 3) closed for emergency roadworks due to a collapsed drainage cover. 1 hour delay and 5 miles of congestion. Allow extra time if heading that way as repairs expected to take a few hours.

@HighwaysNWEST Absolute farce, same thing happened a couple of weeks ago where there were massive queues only to get to the front of the queue where one man was trying to fix a drain cover!! Should have been done properly in the first place!

@SimonCalder This can often happen, though there may be another reason at play for some of the delay, the route filed by the airlines’ operation control centre is often different between airlines for a variety of reasons and can cause different lengths of delay due to air traffic restrictions

@BBCNews It’s frustrating for the crew as well and we have every sympathy for those affected. As flight crew we do indeed let the arrival airport know of any passengers needing assistance. As the article correctly says, it’s the airport itself that provides the (substandard) service.
