Around the world, 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 are disproportionately affected by the lack of 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 and 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬. 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘁🇩🇪 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻, 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻. With these locations now live, access to modern public sanitation in Stuttgart continues to grow. This rollout follows the successful tender, with 20 public restrooms scheduled for installation across the city in the coming months. Step by step, @stuttgart_stadt is building a citywide network of reliable, accessible public sanitation.

This glass unit is designed by JCDecaux Sverige and produced in our factory in 🏭 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗺. The visual design of this glass unit was created by the local city architect, Malena Kjellstrand, with renderings inspired by a historic photograph of the Mårtenstorget market dating back more than 100 years. This subtle reference to the city’s past allows the unit to blend naturally into its surroundings while still offering modern functionality. In addition to being self-cleaning, the restroom includes wheelchair accessibility, a baby-changing table, touch-free operation, and visual colour contrast for the visually impaired. Its 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿-𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻, inspired by the traditional Amsterdam “Plaskrul” from 𝟭𝟴𝟴𝟬, blends seamlessly with the park while offering both a 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 and 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺. 🇮🇸 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗸𝗸𝗶, 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗡𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲 Iceland’s untouched nature is stunning, but not exactly known for its public rest stops. 🚫🚽 That changed last year with the opening of the 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗳𝗲𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 in Bakki: 𝗜𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱’𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟰/𝟳 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽. 🧭 The centre offers a shop, interactive information, a restaurant, and most importantly: 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀. 🚻 For this first site in a larger rollout, we delivered 𝟱 ‘naked’ Revolving Toilets, including 𝟭♿ wheelchair-accessible unit. Now fully integrated, the restrooms are 𝗮 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲🙌 To date, more than 𝟭𝟲,𝟱𝟬𝟬 visitors have used our Revolving Toilets. These numbers once again prove that 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗹𝘂𝘅𝘂𝗿𝘆, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆.
