March 26th 2025 - 89-year-old Johnny Mathis announced via Facebook that he was retiring from live stage performances due to "age and memory issues which have accelerated." Over the course of his career, Mathis reached the Billboard Top 40 twenty-four times, including two number ones, "Chances Are" in 1957, and his duet with Deniece Williams, "Too Much, Too Little, Too Late" in 1978. In 2003, the Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences awarded him their Lifetime Achievement Award. Mathis was a star athlete at George Washington High School in San Francisco. He was a high jumper, hurdler, and basketball player. In 1954, he enrolled at San Francisco State College on an athletic scholarship, competing in both basketball and track and intending to become an English and physical education teacher. In September this year he will celebrate 90 years young! Photo by Dwight McCann/Chumash Casino Resort/www.DwightMcCann.com, CC BY-SA 2.5, commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?cu…

Absolutely heartbreaking 💔 Homeless people don’t make me feel unsafe. A society that lets them suffer and die in the street does. As someone who survived homelessness, I saw something real today... The mayor of Montreal Soraya Martinez Ferrada who actually felt it and is committed to change. Enough is enough. We need change!

If there is precisely one thing you watch today, make it this. French Senator Claude Malhuret. A microphone. And the most magnificently savage dismantling of the Trump administration ever delivered in a language they almost certainly don’t speak. He covers Iran. He covers corruption. He covers the kind of staggering, industrial-scale incompetence that would get you fired from managing a car park. And he does it with the calm, unhurried certainty of a man who has read every page of the indictment and found it, if anything, worse than expected. France has never pretended to like these people. But this is contempt elevated to an art form. The kind of refined, aristocratic disdain that takes centuries of civilization to produce and approximately ninety seconds to deploy. Malhuret sounds like he is four seconds from the button. Not out of panic. Out of sheer, exhausted disgust. Honestly? Understandable. Watch it. Share it. The adults are speaking. I never use this word but I agree 💯 here. Pam Bondi is dead inside with no heart or soul. She has seen videos of the horrific abuse being done to children, and has done nothing but protect the perpetrators, including her boss. This is the biggest coverup ever. 😡 #ReleaseTheEpsteinFiles #PedophileProtector #TrumpEpsteinCoverUp
Canada Hates Trump@AntiTrumpCanada

This is the face of an evil cunt who protects pedophiles, even after seeing all the videos and pictures of the horrific abuse. There’s a special place in hell for Pam Bondi.

In June 1986, 24-year-old model Marla Hanson stepped out of a Manhattan bar expecting to collect an $850 security deposit from her landlord, Steve Roth. Instead, two men he hired ambushed her. They held her down and slashed her face with razor blades—leaving deep, permanent scars that required over 100 stitches and ended her rising modeling career in an instant. Roth’s motive? Rejected romantic advances and a petty dispute over rent money. During the trial, the defense tried to blame her—questioning her clothes, her dating life, and her Texas roots. The cross-examination, she later said, hurt almost as much as the attack itself. But Marla refused to hide. She showed up to court without makeup, scars visible for the world to see: “I wanted people to see what they had done.” All three men were convicted. Marla went on to become a powerful voice for victims’ rights, an advocate for reforming how the justice system treats survivors, and even a screenwriter (credits on The Blackout and Subway Stories). Her story is a raw reminder of resilience: beauty isn’t just skin deep, and strength is what you build when the world tries to break you.

To commemorate my father’s 95th birthday, I want to remind Spock fans that dad’s parents were Ukrainian immigrants which shaped my father in many ways. Four years of Putin’s war has brought death and destruction to our people, our homeland. LLAP. #standwithukraine #ukraine

Trump: "I never wanna take [the National Guard] out of D.C. I mean, maybe somebody later on will do it, but I never wanna…We see these beautiful, strong people, and they're so nice. They help, they open the doors for people, they carry bags, they pick up paper on the ground."

George W. Bush Presidential Center
Today, President George W. Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush welcomed Ukrainian First Lady Mrs. Olena @ZelenskaUA to the Bush Center. “We admire your country’s bravery and ingenuity,” said President George W. Bush. “We want the people of Ukraine to know that we continue to stand with America’s ally, Ukraine. You are fighting for freedom, and I believe you will prevail.”  Ukraine’s defense against an unprovoked full-scale invasion from Vladimir Putin has now entered its fifth year. Vladimir Putin is responsible for the gravest security crisis on the European continent since World War II. The Bush Institute continues to believe that now is the time to stop him – and to do so, the U.S. must continue its support of Ukraine.

😭Today in Spain, the euthanasia of 25-year-old Noelia Castillo Ramos took place. It happened at 18:00. The procedure was carried out at Sant Camil Hospital in Sant Pere de Ribes, Barcelona, under medical supervision. For two years, the young woman fought a legal battle with her father, who tried to prevent her from undergoing euthanasia. An ultra-religious organization, the Christian Lawyers Association, also campaigned to block the procedure. However, the court sided with the woman, who had decided to end her life. An incredibly tragic story. Honestly, it’s hard to comprehend. Noelia Castillo Ramos was a 25-year-old woman from Barcelona. She was born into a troubled family — her parents were drug addicts who lost their home. From the age of 12, she lived in shelters. As an adult, she ended up in a social care center, where she was gang-raped. After that, she fell into deep depression. She attempted suicide twice. The second time, she fell from a fifth-floor window. This happened in October 2022. She survived, but suffered severe injuries: partial or full paralysis constant chronic pain dependence on constant care From that moment on, her life became continuous physical and psychological suffering. In 2024, Noelia officially applied for euthanasia. A medical commission determined that her condition was irreversible and accompanied by unbearable suffering, and approved the procedure. However, her father intervened and filed a lawsuit to block it. The legal case lasted 601 days. He argued that she was not capable of making such a decision due to her mental state. A legal battle began and lasted nearly two years. The case went through: courts of Catalonia the Supreme Court of Spain the Constitutional Court even the European Court of Human Rights All instances confirmed her right to die. Today at 18:00, the euthanasia was carried out.
