@ScottMcC78 I can see it's been arriving a few minutes late this week - today it was one minute late. For most of last week, it was arriving on time but I'll feed this back. ^DB

Getting very annoyed with actually expecting the @ScotRail 9.11 shieldmuir to Glasgow train to actually run on time for once. It's forever expected to be delayed in instead! Always end up late for work every day now.

@ScotRail But your missing the point here, it is never on time every day. Is it the same reasons every single day?

@ScottMcC78 Hi there, really sorry about this. I can see it's running 4 minutes late - this is due to it travelling through some quite busy stretches of track and picking up small delays that have then accumulated over the morning. ^DB

@ScottMcC78 @ScotRail What grinds my gears is that the onus is always on the service user to push issues, rather than the service provider. Like your op. Another small obstacle flung in your way. YOU have to fill out the complaint form, despite having already raised the issue with them.

Well the @ScotRail 9.11 train from Shieldmuir to Glasgow delayed again! No surprise really, does it ever actually run on time & to top off there's still folk smoking drugs on the platform, so I need to endure that for longer too!

@ScottMcC78 @ScotRail It’s very rarely enforced. And the BTP text number is “ashtray on a motorcycle” stuff. Used it once to report a local station shelter being used as a drugs den. 3 hours later they got back to me, “are they still there?” 🤷🏻‍♂️

@ScotRail Yes, occasionally these announcements where relayed at Shieldmuir station in the padt, but not for a very long time now. People are constantly smoking cigarettes/drugs and vaping now.

@ScotRail Yes I know the reason given, but my point is that this train very rarely ever runs on time & are u just going to ignore the smoking on platforms part mentioned too? I have repeatedly asked what has happened to the no smoking announcements & only reply I get is we'll pass that on!

@ScotRail It can't be low passenger numbers this train has been running for many many years as far as I can remember and many people use it for travel to work including myself.

@ScottMcC78 Hi Scott, I believe it was removed from the last timetable change. I'm sure specifically why this was decided but decisions such as these are usually made to account for low passenger numbers and the need for our fleet on another route. ^Rebecca

@ScotRail what has happened to the 9.11am Shieldmuir - Glasgow Central service Mon-Fri? It appears to have disappeared for a while now.

@scotrail what has happened to No Smoking announcements at stations? Shieldmuir has many people smoking cigarettes, vapes & drugs every morning on the platform. I am a health conscious person & don't wish to inhale or arrive at my work smelling of these substances!

@ScotRail Is this still the case, because the website is stating that trains are still running this morning from shieldmuir to Glasgow?

⚠️ NEW: The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Lanark and Shieldmuir. Train services between Glasgow Central and Lanark will be cancelled, delayed or terminated at and started back from Motherwell.

@matthewdmarsden That's interesting I had been thinking the same thing when I watched the new Superman movie, a lot of the characters male & female were very much made to look not exactly model like & certain ones were being portrayed as appearing irresistible to the opposite sex too.
