Our students' mental health needs are more acute than ever. We're proud that our new contract increases student access to school counselors and school social workers. #SEAStrong

When there are too many students in Special Education classes, overages will now be addressed every 2 weeks instead of every 3 months! #SEAstrong

Under our new contract, Office Professionals can file a grievance if our workload is unmanageable. This will improve retention for the people who are the heart of our schools! #SEAStrong

We need a nurse in ever school and this contract gets us closer - with 5 more FTE nurses in the district. #SEAstrong

We need student, educator, community, and family voices at the table to determine the best way to include Multi-Lingual Learners in our classrooms and in our new contract we won a collaborative task force to take on that work. #SEAStrong

Paraprofessionals and office professionals will now be evaluated only by our supervisors who best know our work. This makes our jobs more fair and will improve retention. #SEAStrong

We won 7% raises this year, plus 4% or IPD (whichever is greater) in 2023-24 and 3% or IPD (whichever is greater) in 2024-25. This is an investment in recruitment and retention - and one we need to build on (especially for Paraprofessionals) in the future! #SEAstrong
