well I got drained for basically everything. I know its ironic the guy always preaching about how important security is gets drained. basically a friend of mine who i've known for 1 year+ sent me a phishing site to claim the @Mint_Blockchain airdrop. I assume he's compromised but have not gotten a response via sms so I don't know. couple unlucky things happened for me to actually fall for this 1. It's literally someone I trust heavily directly messaging me so my guard is down. 2. I went to go see if my alpha group spoke about it which they did and they posted a link of their own which I clicked and claimed the airdrop with no issue on my alt wallet. 3. I was under the impression everything was safe so I connected my main wallet to go claim the airdrop again since I knew I would be eligible. This time instead of clicking the link my alpha group sent I just clicked the one in my DMs because it was already opened on my screen I didn't think much of it. Keep it mind this is someone i've known for years and have even lent 7k which they paid me back in full so the trust was there. 4. I'm currently on vacation away from my house so I brought my mac book which I only use for school with me to trade. I usually trade everything on my PC at home which has every safety extension in the book on it such as wallet guard and pocket universe. I was stupid and it just never crossed my mind to download it on my mac or I just subconsciously thought I had it already I truly don't know why it never crossed my mind. Thats basically what happened I blame no one but myself since it was 100% my fault and I was stupid and careless. Just insane that 2 years of progress gone. I really grinded through all time lows for nft and crypto sitting here showing up everyday when eth was back to $900 while everyone else was quitting. I started crypto 2 years ago at 16 with $800 and climbed all the way up to 6 figs and i'll do it again. I lost all my most of my tokens which was around 90% of my net worth but we keep moving. Thankfully I kept my nfts and my sol which isn't much but at least it keeps me alive As for the person who drained me I'm not sure if it was my "friend" or he was compromised. All the tokens were swapped into ETH and then into Monero so they can't be traced. Another interesting thing is that it wasn't a common drainer used. it looks custom coded. Usually its pink,inferno,angel drainer but this was neither. The website was also taken down already. Lastly i'm ashamed that this even happened to me. I always try to act smart on the TL but truth is I have lots to learn still. Sorry for people who looked up to me for security advice or liked my threads on exposing scammers. I don't know if i'm really going to be posting anymore as I have literally 0 motivation. Sucks to grind so hard during all the bear just to get fked at the start of the bull.
