Families stopped by to take a deep breath or two and shake out their bodies to balance all the excitement of the event. Kids also got the chance to engage in some mindful art 🎨 by assembling a "breathing bead wand."

Recently, Shanthi instructor Annie led art sessions at Thomas Jefferson Elementary's STEAM Afternoon. She worked with 2nd and 3rd graders, crafting a class mandala and teaching mindfulness along the way. Such a fun day — thanks to all at Thomas Jefferson and @BethlehemAreaSD!

Since 2024, we've brought Bridge to Middle School programming to 5th grade classrooms. An adaptation of Calm+Kind+Focused, this program helps students prepare for upcoming academic transitions—teaching skills to cope with stress, process emotions, and nurture peer relationships.
