Our laws are very flawed, on that we can agree. And we all push the boundaries to some extent. But, I understand that if I get caught pushing beyond a law I will face the consequences.
That doesn’t change the fact that, to maintain a viable nation we must enforce the laws that are on the books.
We should absolutely work to change bad laws. That is our duty as citizens. But until that happens legally, we have to enforce the current laws, ALL OF THEM.
This is what separates America from the rest of the world. This is why America used to be thought of as the “Shining city on the hill”, by the rest of the world.
Sadly that image has been tainted over the last few decades.
It is up to us to fix it and pass on “the shining city on the hill” to future generations of Americans.
