@SimpleDvy

I’m an idiot with semi-hilarious podcasts. Part of the #4HorsemenofRumble I may be dumb but my superpower is common sense. SimpleGamin on Rumble.

No the problem is the left(“progressives”) have no common sense. They are the vote blue no matter who, if you don’t agree with us 1000% then you are the problem. While some on the right are not far behind that thinking, X has always had a “bubble” algorithm.

Basically. We all were in the circle j3rk at one point... You just forgot 🥹 Spoiler: If this offends you, you are actually the problem in streaming and you should probably choose to do something else. 🤣 Welcome to 2026... where speech is now offending some Rumble Streamers... a free speech platform. Don't worry though... I will remind you that Free Speech is absolute and we can have a joke or 2.

The Real Tombi
The Real Tombi@TheRealTombi·
Howdy, I’m Tombi. I have seen a lot of conversations over growth on platforms and seen some absolute gaslighting from many sides. Some dont want to admit the truth, others cant see the wood for the trees. Prepare, rant incoming.... Most of you know me as a variety streamer, coding, gaming, and music all squeezed into the gaps of a 9-to-5 life. I am an disabled Veteran who served his country proudly, learnt to use my arm again after significant injury and now live in permanent pain with CRPS. I am also a husband to a wife fighting a heart condition, a father, a grand-father and lastly, an autistic creator who found his diagnosis at 41. I don't tell you this for sympathy but rather, I tell you this because it means my TIME is my most precious currency I have. Lately however, I feel that platforms we (both you and I) call home have been devaluing that currency. In Jun '25 I hit 11k subscribers on YouTube and Im almost 2.5k followers on Rumble. Statistically, that puts me in the top tier of creators. But let’s be honest, the numbers are a vanity metric that at a Platform level, dont mean shit. They don’t guarantee visibility, they don’t ensure a livable bank balance, and they certainly don’t buy you a seat at the table where the favourite dine. As a creator, I’ve spent three years on Youtube, Rumble, Kick and Twitter. I have seen some platforms come and go. For 2 years and 9 months on Rumble (sorry going to call you out on this one) fought for 50,000 views. In the last 90 days, I gained a further 450,000. The math is broken. That growth didn't come from a change in my quality or a "tweak" to the algorithm. It came from seven "Editor’s Picks." My success wasn't earned through blood, sweat, or gear investments, it was gifted by a gatekeeper as statistically if my content was good enough for 3 years then, why did I not see the numbers earlier in the pipeline. The numbers simply do not math. We need to collectively stop pretending that platforms are meritocracies rewarding you for effort. If your growth is stagnant despite consistent quality and delivering a consistently consumable product then, it’s not an "algorithm" issue, it is more likely a favoritism issue. Too often I see mid-sized creators punching down, telling smaller streamers to "just quit" or "stop bitching." That’s not leadership, thats you being an arsehole and that’s gatekeeping. To those people I say this, get off your high horses and start supporting more smaller creators. A simply gesture of guidance can easily change a career just as much as a "Featured" tag can change a life. I will help anyone, I will continue to help as many as I can and that I am made aware of. I will continue to crowd fund for people, I will continue to raise money for Charity every year but, Ill no longer view this as meaning anything to the platform. Viewers and other Creators it usually does mean a great deal to but, they are not the ones to dictate the platforms position unless they are in bed with the management. The hard truth I’ve had to swallow is this: Your effort means nothing if favoritism dictates visibility and your production value means nothing if you aren't one of those "favorites." I’m going to keep pushing. I’m going to keep refining my code, my music, and my engagement. Not because I expect the platforms to finally "see" me, but because I owe it to the community that has stayed with me through the silence and the noise. I’m not asking for a handout. I’m asking for a level playing field where "blood, sweat, and tears" actually count for something. To those who give a damn, I'll be live tomorrow. Peace, Tombi
