A funny story about the $LIBRA orchestrator Hayden Davis. A long time ago I met him to launch a NFT collection for $MAHA. Hayden invited me to a fancy sushi restaurant in LA for dinner called Nobu which was pretty famous. During the meet, we sat together to discuss the launch and Hayden ordered almost everything that was super expensive in the menu. When the food came, I never saw a person eat so much sushi so quickly. I wondered if it was humanly possible to consume that much sushi but there it happened right there in front of me. We spoke a bit, brainstormed a few things, made some promises, but nothing really valuable came out of the meeting. When it came time to pay the bill, Hayden said he quickly had to go to the washroom and so he left. The bill had just come. I waited for over 20 mins for Hayden to come back and it was getting to late. I looked around my seat and surprisingly saw him hiding far away near washrooms peaking at our table. Was he waiting for me to foot the bill? 😂 After inviting me over to an expensive sushi restaurant and eating all the food? I don't know how it's like in America, but if someone invites you as a guest, they're supposed to pay the bill or at least offer to split it with you. I decided it was getting to late so I'd pay the bill myself. It was 2000$ 😂 I was pretty broke then (ngl) but whatever I sucked it up and paid the bill. As soon as I did, lo and behold, Hayden came back from the washroom. After 30 minutes. He told me he was surprised that I paid the bill and that the next meal was on him. Whatever man... After that he then went ahead screwed up my NTF launch 😂. I should've known better.

Resistance was strong, and flowers were used to fight guns. The flower in the barrel was a symbol of our boomer elders. Did it work? It didn’t hurt. The flower played its part in stopping the Vietnam war by stripping the political classes of any sense of support. We the people of the West fought your bombs with our flowers. Flowers for peace, flowers on the grave of our fallen soldiers, nobody can argue with flowers. The proposition of the Vienna flower project was to see flowers for appreciation. This meant, if you had pressed flowers, you had to give them away. There was a sort of rule - you could not have 7 flowers, if you reached that you had to rush out and pay your favours. They weren’t for hoarding, they were for expressing. Did it work? Not as a currency. But as a project to get everyone involved, yes, absolutely. It was somewhat legendary in the Vienna art scene. Everyone loved it, it was an expression of production, together, of working to create something. The people of Germany laid flowers on the tank, in remembrance of the Russian crew that died that day. There is no pride in war, no right, no logic. Today we’re righteously killing our enemy, tomorrow they’re righteously killing us. I hope they lay flowers on my tank. Can the flower stop a war? I don’t know, but it can’t hurt. Send your flowers to your congresspersons, your MPs, your MEPs. You don’t need to say anything, or send a message. A flower says it all, they’re all involved in enough wars that somehow, the flower has to get through to them. Stop that war, we don’t want it! Go to senate hearings, lay flowers. Attend Trump’s cavalcade, throw flowers. Visit the New York Times, leave them flowers. Does the Pentagon have enough flowers? Help them. And the Allies! Surely Scholz needs more flowers. Perhaps Annalena needs more flowers in her life? I know Penny Wong could do with some. Macron is a dude who seems lifeless and desperate, how to inspire him? Flowers! And that unsmiling Victoria Nuland could definitely be cheered up if she had some flowers, if she didn’t feel the need to hand out cookies for coups. The message of Peace - the message of not interfering with other countries, not killing their people, not telling them to adopt our democracy until they bend the knee - is the message of our generation. We can do this, or we can disappear. How? Messages of such subtlety need memes. The Flower doesn’t need a label. It doesn’t need a QR code. Nor a manifesto nor a blog post nor a tweet. It just needs a delivery. Send flowers, send peace. Spend flowers, buy peace. Make flowers, build peace.
