You and I both know this has nothing to do with a company paying for PR. 1. MACL does not need to spend 60 million on promotion. It barely needs PR at all, in-house media team is enough. 2. When new outlets like MMTV receive 10 million, established channels like RTV receive nothing, the reason is obvious. 3. This list even includes newspapers most people have never heard of. Not to boast, but for comparison, my personal reach and engagement would likely exceed that of most papers in this list. 4. Take JeeluOnline, just around 50 followers on X, with less than 100 posts, yet receiving 1.2 million. This 1.2 million is not paid for “journalism” or “PR” , it’s paid for whoever owns this money laundering front. 5. And just because the previous government did it doesn’t mean this one should continue the same practice. This isn’t about PR or news. It’s a mechanism to siphon public funds and channel them “legally” to pro-government voices. I’m sorry to say this, but your newspapers serve that same purpose, a convenient front with ai generated articles to funnel public money into your accounts. You’ve positioned yourself well as a “businessman”, always aligning with whoever wins elections and ensuring the flow of public funds in your favor in. You were/are better than that, you can do better than that. People like you should set examples to younger generation by doing better
