@SolarSp81545 @nw_nicholas @ExpatMichael I'm not throwing stones, no need to feel offended. My answer was to reassure people who want to learn a new language that it wasn't supposed to be this arduous... There's probably something wrong with the way you're learning. I speak four languages and learning a 5th.

@SolarSp81545 @nw_nicholas @ExpatMichael I’m sorry but 9 months should be enough to get you past the language barrier. If you took 9 years to barely even learn a language I have news for ya… you might actually have a neurological problem




@SolarSp81545 @nw_nicholas @ExpatMichael It took me three months of living in Italy to get conversational, and maybe a year to comfortably read highly technical scientific textbooks. The issue with native English speakers is that everyone in the world wants to practice their English with the English speakers.
