We wrapped up our conference with four informative workshops that focused on frailty, policy implementation, accumulated grief and trauma informed care facilitated by guest speakers: Professor Caroline Nicholson, Amanda Holland, Jess Foster and Nikki Pitman 👏

We welcome our second speaker our Professor Jill Maben @nursingpolicy who is presenting about Care under Pressure and how nurses’ workplace experience impacts on the quality of patient care and staff wellbeing. Jill’s research has identified tensions & key findings to rebalance

Our interim Head of School Amy Dopson opened our Improving Safety and Quality in Community Nursing Conference this morning as we welcome our first guest speaker Sir Robert Francis QC to discuss patient safety and the historical advances in medical care practice #patientsafety
