Honestly, I'm just gonna have to say something: Stop framing every single post with: "I know many won't care..." I'm starting NOT to care because you keep saying the same thing over and over and over again. People DO care. But maybe spice it up a little bit and show some other dynamics in your personality. Yeah, not everyone likes honesty, but it really is the best way.

I know many wont care, but it matters to me. 1,413 days sober today. You don’t tell people how hard it still is. You just get on with it. You smile. You show up. You carry it quietly. But some days, your head is loud. And the easiest option would be to go back. And you don't.

Maybe. It's all subjective. Personally, I think he DID so well not to so easily destroy her right at the beginning. He knew he could. He really held it in, like a man. And then he got all wuss.
