The WR room needed thinning. Golden and Williams need to play. Wicks had 3 years to ascend & didnt. They weren’t going to re-sign him so getting two picks, including a 5th this year is good value. This is exactly the type of cost I thought he’d go for. GB needed more picks and to clear space to draft a WR. Wicks wanted more playing time. The Eagles needed a WR with Brown about to be a Patriot.
