While there's not much rain around the area this morning, temperatures are on the chilly side. Most are in the middle and upper 40s, which is about 10 degrees cooler than this time yesterday.

Even though there's a lull in the rain for now, some rain and maybe some storms should roll through in the early afternoon. As a result of the clouds and rain, expect temperatures to be cooler, only topping out in the middle and upper 60s.

Heavy thunderstorms with a good amount of lightning have fired up in Ohio and Marshall counties this morning, leading to drenching rains. Don't forget that rain gear before leaving the house!!

Rain and thunderstorms already moving through portions of Muskingum and Coshocton counties. Little bit of a loud start for those folks, but elsewhere things are dry for now.

As of 630 AM this morning, most of the steadier rain has moved out of the area, but things remain wet, especially the roads. Thankfully, temperatures aren't as cool as yesterday morning, with most walking out the door to low and middle 50s this morning.

Thanks to lots of blue sky and plentiful sunshine, temperatures have climbed quickly from the 30s and 40s seen this morning. As you head out the door for lunch, temperatures are in the low to middle 60s, with some areas already approaching 70!

Another cool morning to start this week. Most are walking outside to temperatures in the low to middle 40s, but we have a few spots in the upper 30s. Add in the fact that there's a little breeze, and it will feel a touch cooler, so a jacket may be needed this morning.

An updated look at tonight’s rain: the cold front is moving slower than expected. Showers arrive after midnight with a more stable atmosphere in place so mainly light rain. A brief rumble of thunder is possible, but most stay quiet into Saturday morning.
