@evornithology It's pretty tough in EEB too. I often have to contact 10 people to get 2 reviewers. It used to be contact 4 for 2 reviewers.

Although I have not been an editor yet, my sense is that the situation is not quite this dire in EEB. Are AEs at EEB/organismal journals regularly sending out 15+ review requests? Please say no. 😬

@sand_fiddler @NoahSabich @americanart @ngadc This is the version I am familiar with. I think it is from the 1830s. So probably the original and perhaps a study for a later painting. I think it is extremely powerful and bold.

@dendromecon27 Oh no. I did that too. I was helping my older daughter round up a horse and lost it in the pasture on a cold day. Never found it. My wife bought an inexpensive silver ring at a street stand in Phoenix to replace it. Now I'm attached to that one.

@dendromecon27 Definitely. My album choices may be a bit further back in time but London Calling, Talking Heads 77 have to be listened to in the original order. Actually the same with Taylor Swift 1989.
