@electoralreform Lords have shown value in scrutinising / recommending improvements to legislation, so use them more as chairs and committee members where they have appropriate expertise. Then bin the house of lords, make that a UK house elected by PR, and the commons an English assembly by FPTP

Electing them would be the perfect way for the public to 'reconnect' with the Lords theguardian.com/politics/2020/…

I just watched a bit of @BBCBreakfast and when they wanted to get some 'analysis' from the leaders debate they had Nicky Morgan MP. What is the point of having an MP on when all you get is a stream of a*se kissing platitudes. That's not analysis. Luckily @Channel4 had rugby on.
