@elonmusk @BillyM2k people have done plenty of articles (dating back to 2016 i believe even) where they go over how illegals can vote in elections, even if just general elections and based on state this helps push up local candidates, empowering them to then help empower others doing the same thing.

i don’t understand why the left is against voter id while simultaneously saying how it won’t make a difference because people aren’t illegally voting so then pass the law? if the results are the same and it makes no difference, it takes away the talking point

Then that’s not the reality Elon. It’s complete guesswork at best. Here’s what will happen if this garbage legislation is passed. Voting numbers will drop because it makes it a complete pain in the ass for people. Then the government will be sued on constitutional grounds, in which case SCOTUS will overturn the bill because it impedes voting. This whole thing is a bullshit power play that provides little substance and costs people time and money to do something th fed already has a record of. It’s absolutely a stupid waste of time and effort on a piece of legislation that looks like it was written on a bar napkin.

The Save America Act stops Democrats from turning America into a sanctuary country.

It’s not a warrantless search. Those who claim that’s the case are either woefully uninformed or have questionable motives. Requiring warrants for 702 does little more than prop the door open for state actors to do what they want, when they want it, sight unseen. So which one are you?

No FISA 702 reauthorization without a warrant requirement. No Iran war funding without a specific war declaration/authorization from Congress. These are constitutionally necessary, common sense conditions to protect the liberty and safety of Americans.

I'm going to call this right now. We are going to have a large population with absolutely no critical thinking skills if they blindly trust AI for everything. We have all already seen it. They don't validate outputs. They don't really understand anything. They just ask questions, it looks good, and they go with it. There are going to be huge issues in every company as this continues over the years. The amount of technical debt and knowledge gaps are going to be insane. So much opportunity if you actually know what you're doing.

Interesting take Warren. Why don’t you tell the truth about this? I get it, political grandstanding pays the bills. Those people literally gave consent for their data sharing and use. Even then, the fed that you’re clearly happy to portray as untrustworthy leaves the data anonymized until it results in needing a warrant. There are several cases that outline all of this, if your staff bothered to read them for you. So what are you complaining about exactly? The FBI just acknowledged that the federal government buys Americans' location data in its testimony to the Senate Select Subcommittee on Intelligence. This is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment and is why I introduced the Government Surveillance Reform Act - to close the data broker loophole that allows intelligence agencies to buy Americans' private data.

Just thinking here out loud but , The problem with going down the chain from killing hardliner IRGC , to then killing Iran’s Basiji militia , ….to then killing Iranian police officers . Mark, instead of complaining, how about solving? You literally could do anything and it would impede this if you all spent less time bitching while you posture politically. Create a federal ID that reflects citizenship, update Real ID so it does that, or eliminate the bureaucratic red tape that Congress created which prevents states from having up to date voter rolls. There. Fixed it for you in the 30 seconds it took me to type this.

The SAVE America Act doesn’t “Save” America. And this isn’t about voter ID. This bill requires everyone to re-register to vote in person and your driver’s license, REAL ID, or military ID aren’t even good enough. Imagine all of our seniors who don’t have valid passports and haven’t seen their birth certificates in decades? What about them? How hard will it be for them to register? And how do they get a passport if they can’t find their birth certificates? And what about the cost? If this becomes law, it will disenfranchise many Americans.
