In the future, there will be three major powers in the world: China, USA, EU. Neutral countries will move as much as possible towards the EU as their preferred partner because both China and the USA treat other countries disrespectfully and try to extort them. Europe will be the only great power and market to turn to if you want to have an equal and fair relationship. Canada is already moving towards Europe for this exact reason. India and Japan will also form a closer relationship with Europe. This is what soft power means. MAGA replies in the comment section will prove the point.

Trump has NEVER pushed congress to cut spending in any meaningful way, on the contrary he's been the one twisting congress's arms to get them to vote for big spending bills. The on again off again tariffs have just caused chaos. If you want to use them strategically to onshore stuff, fine, but the way he's gone about them has been insane.
The president has the veto pen. And the "big beautiful bill" was his baby. He could have gone back to congress over any spending bill and said "this isn't good enough". But he hasn't, because he doesn't care about the debt.
Don't tell me there's not more we could be doing to force the illegals to go home. That's what he ran on, but he keeps softening his tone to only the "criminals".
