Over 80% of youth feel there is not enough support for youth affected by gun violence. (PEACE Collective & @CeaseFirePA survey) Our staff see this impact firsthand. We help to support many of these youth, who are carrying the weight of this epidemic on their shoulders.

TPFC has 3 teams of hard-working Specialists & Supervisors who meet with young people one-on-one. Housing Prep provides workshops to help youth live independently. Both make futures brighter for youth aging out. Thank you to all our dedicated staff in LifeSet & Housing Prep!

Pictured, are Melissa and Jelena, two of our many Family Finding Case Managers, who are helping to raise awareness and funds for Family Finding. Thank you to all our FF staff members who work tirelessly to build strong foundations of support for children in foster care.

Today we are celebrating our Family Finding team – or as we jokingly say, Turning Point’s own team of detectives. Since 2010, the FF team has identified over 170,500 possible relatives for youth in foster care, each relative being a potential long-term connection.

In November, Project F.A.M! launched a new program called Point Essentials, providing essentials like hygiene items, formula and diapers, and school supplies to parents in need. So far, they have served over 90 families. Pictured above are Charmin and Sharon...
