The Online Safety Department at TRA held a workshop on the National Internet Safety Review in Bahrain. The workshop highlighted the current state of digital security and presented the key findings of the study prepared by the department.

أقام قسم الأمن الإلكتروني في الهيئة ورشة عمل حول المراجعة الوطنية لسلامة الإنترنت في المملكة.  وسلّطت الورشة الضوء على واقع الأمن الرقمي الراهن، كما تم استعراض أبرز نتائج الدراسة التي أعدّها، بما يعكس الجهود المتواصلة للهيئة في تعزيز بيئة رقمية آمنة وموثوقة لكافة المستخدمين.

Philip Marnick, General Director of TRA, participated in the Second International Submarine Cable Resilience Summit, organized by ITU in Porto, Portugal. The summit featured specialized sessions focused on enhancing the resilience of submarine communication cables.

شارك فيليب مارنيك، المدير العام للهيئة في القمة الدولية الثانية لمرونة كابلات الاتصالات البحرية، التي نظمها الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات بجمهورية البرتغال. وشهدت القمة نقاشات متخصصة تناولت سبل تعزيز مرونة كابلات الاتصالات البحرية، واستعراض الحلول لضمان استمرارية الاتصال العالمي.

شاركت هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات في الاجتماع الثامن والأربعين للجنة الفنية للمكتب الفني للاتصالات As part of its ongoing regional engagement, the Kingdom of Bahrain participated in the 48th meeting of the Technical Committee of the Telecommunications Bureau.

ترأست البحرين ممثلةً بهيئة تنظيم الاتصالات الاجتماع التنسيقي ٤٨ بين جهات تنظيم الاتصالات بدول المجلس ووزارة الدفاع الأمريكية Bahrain, represented by the TRA, chaired the 48th coordination meeting between telecommunications regulators in the GCC and US Department of Defense.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority held this workshop to exchange views between the Authority and the mobile network operators on technical issues related to future spectrum requirements and different approaches to spectrum award mechanisms.

أقامت هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات ورشة لتبادل وجهات النظر بين الهيئة ومشغلي الشبكات المتنقلة المحليين حول الجوانب التقنية المرتبطة بالاحتياجات المستقبلية للطيف الترددي، بالإضافة إلى مناقشة آليات وأساليب تخصيص الطيف المختلفة والتنسيق الخاص بالتداخلات.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of the Kingdom of Bahrain has released its Annual Market Indicators Report covering the full year 2024 up to Q2 2025. The report highlights major developments in Bahrain’s telecommunications sector over the past decade.

نشرت هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات بمملكة البحرين تقريرها السنوي للعام 2024 حتى الربع الثاني من 2025. ويعكس التقرير التطور الملحوظ في قطاع الاتصالات خلال السنوات العشر الاخيرة.

عقدت هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات الاجتماع التاسع عشر للجنة استراتيجية وتنسيق الطيف الترددي، وذلك في إطار جهودها المستمرة لتعزيز الجاهزية المستقبلية لقطاع الاتصالات. TRA held the 19th meeting of the Spectrum Strategy and Coordination Committee.

أعلنت هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات عن إطلاق خدمات الاتصال المباشر عبر الأقمار الصناعية في البحرين، لتصبح أول دولة في دول مجلس التعاون تعتمد هذه التقنية المتقدمة. TRA has announced the launch of Satellite Direct-to-Device (D2D) services in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

عقد مجلس إدارة هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات اجتماعه الأخير لهذا العام لمراجعة الإنجازات ومتابعة أهم التطورات في القطاع. TRA's Board of Directors held its final meeting for the year to review achievements and follow up on the most important developments in the sector.

تحت شعار “المرأة البحرينية.. تميز–إبداع–ابتكار” احتفلت هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات بيوم المرأة البحرينية.

Under the theme “Bahraini Women… Excellence–Creativity–Innovation,TRA celebrated Bahraini Women’s Day.

TRA represented Bahrain at the ITU World Telecommunication Development Conference, highlighting the Kingdom’s strong 5G and fibre coverage, full population internet access, and commitment to working with the ITU and Member States to support inclusive digital development.

قامت الهيئة بتمثيل مملكة البحرين في المؤتمر العالمي لتنمية الاتصالات، حيث سلطت الضوء على التغطية القوية لشبكات الجيل الخامس والألياف البصرية في المملكة، ووصول خدمات الإنترنت إلى كافة السكان، مؤكدةً التزامها بالعمل مع الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات والدول الأعضاء لدعم التنمية الرقمية.

TRA participated in the meeting of the Working Party on Connectivity Services and Infrastructures of the OECD, recently held in Paris, to discuss the latest global developments and trends in connectivity and digital infrastructure, and to enhance international cooperation.
