It is with a sadden heart, John "JR" Root passed away Saturday. First match in 1947. Was there in 55. Pitch holder. Founding member of TX-Blues and @CFCInAmerica. A dear friend. Blue through and through. I know many met him. Fantastic person. 💙💙💙🙏🙏🙏

Chelsea always come first by a country mile, but would be remiss to not congratulate Wrexham on another promotion. Saw a few of their games in non-league in recent seasons, happy to see them now back in the division where we used to play them.
