Bengaluru's Peripheral Ring Road traces a 65 km ring around the entire city, NH44 in the north, NICE Road in the west, down to Electronic City, and looping back through Hoskote in the east. Most people think of it as a traffic solution. It's actually a land story. 🚨 Bengaluru's BDA has launched a city-wide drive to reclaim public-use land, roads, parks, and civic amenity sites that developers were legally required to hand over but never did (or quietly continued using). The mechanism: relinquishment deeds, a transfer obligation baked into every layout approval. BDA is now surveying zonal layouts, installing signboards, and engaging RWAs to enforce it. First action already taken at Sobha Arena, Judicial Layout, Talaghattapura.
