Jurgen Klopp has kept the door open for a future return to management by saying he is “not quite finished as a coach yet”. Klopp has been Red Bull’s global head of soccer since January 2025 but has been consistently linked to coaching jobs following his exit from Liverpool in 2024. After rumours linking him to Real Madrid in January, he told The Athletic that he is “completely at peace with where I am” and doesn’t want to be anywhere else. Speaking to reporters at an event in Germany on Monday he again called that idea “all nonsense” but left the door open to a return in the future. “If Real Madrid had called, we would have heard about it by now,” he told MagentaTV. “But that’s all nonsense. They didn’t even call once. They didn’t even call my agent.” Asked if he would consider coaching the German national team, he continued: “I’ve said that a thousand times already, but of course I’m not thinking about it at all right now. “And as for the future, I’m not quite finished as a coach yet.
