One of my neighbors kid went to trade school for HVAC at 18.
His parents were embarrassed because everyone around us, college is the only option promoted.
He spent $6k and started at $65k while his friends were still in school.
At 25 he got his contractor license. At 27 he opened his own shop.
Last year his company did $2.1 million in revenue with 3 trucks. His friends just started to pay off their student loans.
Now, my neighbors cant stop bragging about their son who also is our neighborhood HVAC tech.
Day 96 tagging @mikeroweworks to let everyone know that we need more kids like this.

BREAKING: Court documents reveal that Australian government war crimes investigators do not even have the NAMES of two individuals Ben Roberts-Smith is alleged to have killed in Afghanistan almost 20 years ago.
Nobody has managed to identify these alleged victims - even after $300 million was spent on war crimes investigations over five years.
Australian Office of Special Investigations director Ross Barnett already revealed that investigators have:
- No crime scenes
- No access to the deceased
- No bodies
- No post-mortem report
- No official cause of death
- No recovery of projectiles to link to weapons that might have been carried by members of the ADF
- No photographs
- No site plans
- No measurements
- No recovery of projectiles
- No blood spatter
Now we know that after nearly $300 million and 5 years of investigation, they do not even have the NAMES of two alleged victims.
If there is no name, no identification, no body - how do we even know they were killed?
Does anybody actually think this is fair?
Does anybody actually think that a criminal conviction - proved to a criminal standard, beyond reasonable doubt - is remotely possible in these circumstances?

The State of California makes more money off a gallon of gas than the oil company that refined it and got it to market.
Almost $2 of every gallon there goes to Sacramento’s coffers.

What should’ve been a great night out in Navy Yard turned into something we’re seeing far too often. Sitting at dinner at Takumi (one of the newest additions to the neighborhood) this was the view: chaos spilling into the streets, fights breaking out, and large groups of teens running through the area after yet another reckless event at the Bullpen.
This isn’t a one-off—it’s a repeat pattern, and it’s happening later and later into the night. Residents and visitors should be able to enjoy a beautiful day, support new businesses, and have a peaceful meal without worrying about safety or disruption.
At some point, we have to ask: how many times does this need to happen before real accountability and prevention measures are put in place?
