Dear Reform @reformparty_uk supporters, We get it. You don’t like Restore. You think we’re traitors. You think we’re splitting the vote. You think only Reform can save Britain. Message received but we don't care. You enjoy your meltdowns. We’ll keep building. @RestoreBritain @RupertLowe10

Andrea, that is exactly where we differ. You see “true Tories”. I see Tories who were sitting in the offices of power while Britain was being changed beyond recognition. Jenrick was Immigration Minister. Braverman was Home Secretary. Anderson was Tory deputy chair. Zahawi was Chancellor and Tory chair. Dorries was in Cabinet. Reform has taken in a long list of people from the political machine that presided over record migration, weak borders, high taxes, broken housing and national decline. Calling them the “right sort” of Tories does not reassure me. It confirms the problem. And I do not think Farage is being politically savvy here. I think it is his fatal mistake. He has turned an insurgency against the old order into a refuge for people from the old order. You cannot rebuild Britain by rehiring the architects of the collapse.

Andrea, I do grasp it. I was a Reform member. The problem is that I believe Farage broke my trust, and the trust of many others who wanted something genuinely different. For me, the fatal mistake was recruiting former Tories into Reform. These are people from the political world that presided over so many of the problems Britain now faces: record migration, weak borders, high taxes, broken housing, failing public services and managed decline. You cannot present yourself as the insurgency against failure while filling your party with people from the machinery of that failure. His constant drifting on policy is also a major concern. Reform too often feels like headline first, principle second. I admired the work Rupert Lowe did inside Reform. But, as we have seen before, Farage has to be the central figure in everything he builds. That is how he operates. Lowe was pushed out, and for many of us that clarified the choice. I believe Lowe is a man of deep principle. Restore’s policies are detailed, serious and much closer to the Britain I want to see - not just in destination, but in the means of getting there. From the Restore meetings I have attended, I have seen a genuine groundswell of passionate, patriotic people who want national renewal, but who are also open to debate, discussion and proper policy. I understand if that does not persuade you. But that is where I am. I do not want Labour. I do not want Burnham. I will not vote Tory. And I would not vote Reform now, because Reform has lost my trust.

Andrea, the point is that many Restore voters would not vote Reform if Restore were not standing. If I lived in Makerfield, I would not want Labour or Burnham anywhere near power. But I would still not vote Tory, and I would not vote Reform. Farage has broken trust by filling Reform with too much of the old political machinery that helped create the mess we are in. Reform chases headlines. Restore is already producing serious, researched policy and forcing the debate. So this is not simply “letting Labour in”. It is voters refusing to be herded into a party they do not trust.

Young Bob was not attacking anyone. He was setting up a public debate stand. He was dragged down, punched, kicked, robbed of equipment, and left needing medical attention. If members of Stand Up To Racism were involved, encouraged it, or stood filming while it happened, that is vile. Will there be swift action, @Keir_Starmer? Or is political violence only serious when it happens to the approved side? You cannot claim to defend democracy while looking away when young activists are attacked in the street for holding the wrong opinions.
Young Bob@YoungBobRB

Someone has submitted footage of what happened. Look at how a gang of foreigners just randomly begin hitting and punching me. This was the first incident. After that, I tried to retrieve my things, and they tried to attack me a second time. Then the police arrived.

You are assuming every Restore voter would vote Reform if Restore were not on the ballot paper. That is the problem. Many would not. Some do not trust Reform. Some see Tory 2.0. Some want a different vehicle entirely. Those votes are not being “taken” from Reform. They were never Reform’s property.

Young Bob @YoungBobRB is attacked and has his equipment stolen by criminal migrants. Our streets are not safe. Britain never used to be like this. Disgraceful.

Yes, Makerfield specifically. Because every serious movement has to start somewhere, and voters are entitled to hear a genuine patriotic alternative rather than being told to fall in line behind Tory 2.0. If Reform cannot handle one Restore candidate in one seat, that says more about Reform than Restore.

Oh you wanted more than Yes or No this time. We could have saved so much time. It helps by making clear that patriotic voters are not owned by Reform. If Reform wants to beat Labour nationally, it has to persuade people who want change - not demand obedience from them. Restore is building a serious long-term alternative for people who do not believe Tory 2.0 can restore Britain.

Only 5% of Reform voters would want Rupert Lowe as leader if Nigel Farage was ever to step down. His thugs accosting Reformers in Makerfield was a massive mistake.

We must NOT allow @RestoreBritain to claim victory unless they get at least 20%. They're already saying 5%, 10%, 15% is a WIN! Share and let's make sure they NEVER live this down! 😏

Rupert Lowe claimed multiple times in the past that he ‘doesn’t care’ about being called names. In reality, the thinned skinned narcissist hates being criticised. This tweet proves it👇
Rupert Lowe MP@RupertLowe10

The deranged hate campaign against Restore Britain is reaching incredible new levels. In one Daily Mail article today, the entire stale political establishment line up to have a pop at us. Reform use that old ‘neo-nazi’ line to open up - unimaginative, at best. Then Labour attempt to stick the boot in (it doesn’t land), followed by a Conservative MP who goes on to insult me... All finished off by the Lib Dems, who have a quote at the end saying we should be ashamed of ourselves (we are not). The Daily Mail missed Polanski for the full house in that particular article, but fear not - he has recently called me an extremist too. Isn’t it all so boring? Let them come. The establishment wants to eradicate Restore Britain, but we are here to stay. My message is this. GET USED TO IT. A political party that will deport millions of illegal migrants, sex pests and freeloaders. If a foreign national is living in our country yet unable to speak English, living in social housing, claiming benefits, refusing to work, hating our way of life or abusing women? We will deport them. As I have said many times. Millions must go. Labour, Reform, the Tories, Lib Dems, Greens - they all want us gone. Why? Because they can see the support Restore Britain is gaining. We are going to win. We are going to mass deport. We are going to get our country back.

@LeeHurstComic If this by-election is exposing anything, it is how quickly Reform’s argument becomes just calling people names.
