Learn Russian #1 You already know 25% of the alphabet. Russian has an undeserved reputation for being difficult to learn. It’s actually quite logical. And don't be deterred by the size of the words, you'll quickly become accustomed.

Pleased to report my Russian language skills are flooding back. My mind instantly read this sign, no translation required. I realize they’re easy words, but I wasn’t sure what would happen in the months since my September visit. Excited to attend language school 🤓

Congratulations!! I've watched Canada the country that doesn't take its economy seriously, like Germany, go from a place where everyone shopped at HBC to no one could afford to shop at HBC with the decline of the standard of living for 4 decades. Mix that in with clapping like seals for nazis in Ottawa, to giving preferential status for grooming gang perverts over parents and it makes sense to head to Russia a country that encourages self respect and personal/family growth.

@RonaldSchluter I have been shocked by the friendliness. I mean technically, I am a foreigner from “enemy land” and yet, only friendliness?! Wow.

I worked in Moscow for two months... back when Brezhnev was president, so a long, long time ago. (That’s usually how fairy tales begin...). The mindset probably hasn’t changed, even though the system is different today... enjoy your time there... Your liver should be in good shape 😉—people love to raise a glass, and they do it often 🍻 You’ll have a great time... :)
