UK is a very interesting country! They want the money international students bring (£45 billion+ in one year) but don’t want the students themselves and their families. They want international skilled workers to work and pay tax(es), but don’t want the staff and their families to attain settlement. Couple this with the fact that they never keep their word and enjoy shifting goalposts when you are already in the country, I’ll advise anybody thinking of coming here to look/go elsewhere. But, if you insist, good luck to you.

If he wanted to come he should have been forced into an appropriate visa scheme not simply ride your tail into the country.

I can’t reply as the original person blocked me, but if that’s a barrier you should simply study in your own country. We can’t always get what we want

It’s all net gain. Please think about this hill you’re dying on. Without these students fees and taxes for brits will go up.

They’re also paying 3x the university tuition to make higher education cheaper for Brits. Let their kid learn some math maybe, Scrooge?

@TheWinterRoad @Mrbhadoosky They’re not bringing their entire family. Their spouse and children if they have. Students and their dependents also have no access to public funds. None of their time counts toward citizenship, and they pay visa and NHS fees for every year spent. Their tuition is also 3x more.
