Plaid Cymru didn't even bother turning up to hustings in Lampeter, one of their strongest areas. They take your vote for granted. You are simply a number to them and nothing more.

Plaid Cymru have said that within their first 100 days in government they will establish a national commission on independence. Plaid Cymru are obsessed with constitutional issues. Unlike Reform, Plaid Cymru’s priority isn’t fixing Wales, it’s pursuing independence and taking Wales out of the United Kingdom. A vote for Plaid Cymru on May 7th is a vote for constitutional chaos. Vote Reform. Get Reform 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The latest YouGov poll predicts a disastrous Senedd coalition between Plaid Cymru and Zack Polanski’s Greens. To stop it, the crucial sixth seat is key. If Plaid/the Greens are in contention yo win seat 6 in your constituency, vote for the party best placed to stop them.

@JacCymro1400 Why is a Welsh council proposing to give housing to Welsh speakers only? Why will they favour minorities over Welsh people. Why will you have to speak Welsh to get decent jobs? My children speak Welsh but they are fanatics

Plaid Cymru have published their “first 100 day plan” for if they win the election. On first reading it feels very much like a plan to make a plan…. Take a look at the part on culture. Full analysis tomorrow in the news letter.

Plaid leader Rhun ap Iorwerth’s speech was over 5,000 words. Not one of them was “independence” or “annibyniaeth”.

@DanWalesReform The 20mph isn’t a Welsh Labour creation. They did it under instruction from the UK Government to use Wales as a testing ground. 20mph zones have, as a result, been rolled out all over England now too and no party is going to scrap it.

It’s Plaid conference today. And they’re set for an easy ride in the media. Wales deserves to know: Will Plaid scrap the Nation of Sanctuary? Will they scrap blanket 20mph? Will income tax go up when Plaid can’t fund their pledges with the Westminster magic money tree?

Sectarian voting is dangerous. There must be no place for it in our country. Yesterday’s Gorton and Denton by-election shows the risks it poses. According to the 2021 Census, Muslim voters make up 30% of the constituency’s electorate. The by-election was won by Zack Polanski’s Green Party after they fought a sectarian campaign. Several serious allegations emerged during the campaign. Election observers raised concerns of extremely high levels of “family voting”. This illegal practice involves a family member deliberately influencing how another person votes, such as by entering the polling booth with them. The successful Green candidate also produced campaign material in Urdu and Bangla. Although sectarian voting has now come to wider attention, the practice is nothing new. Plaid Cymru separatists also engage in it. Sectarian voting campaign “The Muslim Vote” endorsed several Plaid Cymru candidates at the last General Election. Brandon Ham, Plaid Cymru separatist candidate for Newport West and Islwyn, promoted The Muslim Vote’s endorsement of his candidacy on social media. Action must be taken to stop sectarian voting. There must be tougher regulation to stop practices like family voting. And consequences for those who break laws in place to stamp it out. On top of this, parties who engage in sectarian campaign practices, like Plaid Cymru separatists and The Greens, must be held to account.

@whyxlive This has always been a thing. The UK has always played host to American artists, while Europe less so; Europe consumes much less American media than we do. So to say "UK and Europe" is correct. When bands do European tours this has never been expected to include the UK.

Families are choosing between heating and eating. Why? Because Britain refuses to use its own energy properly. Reform UK will cut energy bills, back UK production, and end costly net zero dogma.
