My god the bar has been set so low if people are really happy with that. No shots on target, xG of 0.28. It was alright, sure, something to build on, but that's the minimum base level this team should produce.

The most powerful impression of @Keir_Starmer press conference was that we are returning to serious grown up politics and government. Not a day too soon. The focus on ministerial standards was welcome. Devoting Day 2 to meetings with First Ministers or Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland was a great sign after the contempt shown to them by the Tories in recent years. Ditto Metro Mayors Day 3. And it was like a breath of fresh air to hear and see the focus on prisons. The @JamesTCobbler appointment is inspired. Also if I can tell @Emmabarnett of another swimming pool chat - Jason from Yorkshire said it was amazing how much stronger and more confident KS looked since actually winning. That is the power of the office.
