Scanning a regular goose flock at Woodland yesterday was very productive. Amongst circa 400 Greylags were 6 Taiga Bean geese, 4 Russian White-fronted geese and 1 Pink-footed goose, a couple of the Taigas are shown.

Whooper Swan at Woodland today, this single remains from the 2 that turned up in May.

Roding Woodcock and hunting Nightjar both at Woodland tonight.

Tree Sparrow feeding chicks at Woodland, the small colony here has dropped to three pairs this year.

@HalfSnipe They are present consistently at Woodland but at low density, maybe a similar pattern elsewhere in the uplands?
