for whatever reason, whenever I think of this progress shot my mind immediately jumps to "give 'em the ol' razzle-dazzle", like the space marine is stepping into a spotlight

In my ongoing weird painting mood, I seem to be speedrunning all the subjects I used to paint over the years. Not sure if I’m trying to see if I’m better now, or if I’m trying to remember what I found compelling or what exactly.

I just found that I had left a Notes tab open where I had apparently written a very important message to myself at some point in the middle of the night. “Sorry I’ve got too many arms just not sure what to do with all these arms” …Past Me, I have questions.

@Brainmage Not even the slightest. They pay you to be one thing, not both things. They can pay you twice if they want you to be two things. Tell them we have math now.

Learning to use contrast paints: very early days. Moving straight from mostly metallics with the Necrons to this seems like a little more jump than is strictly necessary? But this obliges me to figure out new stuff, not just sit around on what I've already learned.

At some point I have to start learning basing. It's technically a secondary little thing from the Exaction Squad, or 'Judge Dredd 40K'. Gonna call it the Oppression Roomba.
