New Year, New Faces. 😍 Please join us in giving @lylefulton1993 a huge Top Button welcome for his directing debut with us. Lyle is going to be directing our production of 'Chicken Pasta' in January as part of the Six Plays One Day short play festival hosted by @3dumbtheatre 🍝

Happy New Year! Sending love to all of you and yours! 🍷 We are taking time to reflect on our proudest moments. In 2019 we took 'Reasons To Be Myself' written by our @katannahamilton to Sheffield and performed in the opening season of The Sheffield Local Theatre. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What have we done? July 2017, Top Button debuted 'Wink' by the glorious @phoebeeclair at The Mission Theatre in Bath. We immediately fell in love. Wink explores mental health in masculinity and the implications of Dyslexia in education- two things close to our hearts ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Who are we? Introducing our Writer in Residence @katannahamilton. Katie has written and performed for Top Button since 2018. She wrote 'Reasons To Be Myself' performed in 2018 & 2019 and we are about to perform her new play 'Chicken Pasta' in 2023. Photo: @yellowbellyfoto

Here's some more info on our latest play: Chicken Pasta follows a couple as they navigate the complexities of a relationship plagued by a deadline; George has Bowel Cancer. He shouldn’t have Bowel Cancer, because he’s not even thirty yet. Bowel Cancer is for old people.

Turns out; it’s not. Together, George and Kat must discover all the unexpected impacts of ‘The Big C.’ The problem is, they can’t even decide what to make for dinner, let alone plan a funeral.
