Al-Nassr originally lost 2-1 to Al-Orubah in March 2025, but they complained that substitute goalkeeper Rafi Al-Ruwaili was ineligible to play. Because he was not a full-time professional player at the time, as he was still officially employed as a police officer The Saudi Sports Arbitration Center eventually ruled in Al-Nassr's favor in May 2025, awarding them the three points. This enabled Al-Nassr who finished fourth in the Saudi League move to third enabling them qualify for the AFC Champions League 2 (Asian Europa League) This decision also contributed to Al-Orubah's relegation. 😬
