Planning my route home as we speak and if you know of anyone that might be able to offer a bed or a place to pitch a tent in Bellingham on Tuesday 6th July or Leicester on Friday 9th July it would be a massive help! Thanks as always for the support

Day 49: week 7 draws to a close in Dundee. Amazing getting to know some of the guys from the Scottish Adventure Cycling club in Aberdeen earlier today. Also a lovely effort from the Pier Cafe, with everything cooked to absolute perfection. Only another sausage away from the board

Day 44: Well, the Tour de Full English is joining football and heading home. Avoiding the A9 where possible so having to go back on myself a tad. Swipe for the route and another breakfast at last. This time at T's Cafe in Thurso.

Sadly my good luck ran out about half way through today as something went wrong with the ball bearings in my pedals but the team at Barnes Bikes and Bits kindly saved the day and delivered some new pedals! It caused a bit of a delay to the day but happily arrived safe and sound

Day 42: A day of both relentless hills and picturesque views. Back to last night, when I was looking for a camping spot in Ullapool, a local couple very kindly offered their Airbnb which wasn't in use and also provided a delicious dinner which was much appreciated.

Day 38: After yesterday's mechanical failure turned into an unexpected bed for the night, am back to wild camping up in Pitlochry. Definitely the most picturesque day's cycling today. A little taste of Scotland for you from Coia's Cafe in Glasgow.

Day 36: Arrived safely just a couple miles east of Glasgow for the night. Was amazing to climb up Arthur's seat and see a bit of Edinburgh. I'll definitely be back (but might grab the train next time...) A breakfast for the foodies among us today from @thepantryman

Day 34: Anyone for a Full Scottish? A massive thanks to everyone who's donated and discovered the trip over the past 24 hours or so. Taken us well over the £20,000 mark which will do wonders in funding both MND and Brain Tumour research. Now for a bit of wild camping

Day 32: A month to the day since leaving and I'm up in Amble. Was great getting to know the amazing Francis Cade and Helen from the BT Charity who've both been incredibly kind helping with fundraising and getting the word out there. A great breakfast as well from The Lamp Room

Day 30: So here's the plan for the Scottish Leg of the route. A couple of people have kindly offered accomodation in Edinburgh and Glasgow but beyond that any help would be much appreciated! The letters are purely waypoints on Google Maps and don't mean anything.

Day 28: Four weeks on the road and the first time on the East Coast. Pembrokeshire to Bridlington is probably one of Britain's longer sea to sea cycle routes... Has been a great ride since Liverpool, up to Lancaster then along much of the Way of the Roses cycle route.

Day 24: And we're halfway there! A great day in Liverpool meeting the incredible Karl who relentlessly fundraises for MND. Was also treated to probably the fanciest breakfast of the trip over @dalestkitchen. Went out to the coast and then came back to Ormskirk for the night.

Day 21: And week three comes to a close in Bangor. Onto the north Welsh coast now and I'll be coming into England on Tuesday. Porthmadog's 'Breaktimes Cafe' had a surprising addition to the plate. Scroll to the end to see the top five as it stands!

My amazing parents gradually lost any sort of independence because they were gradually worn down by these horrific conditions. Thanks so much for continuing to share and support, it means the world. donation link with a little more information about the charities is in my bio

Day 20: And we're into Snowdonia! A big climb and descent today but back down by the coast near Harlech for the night. It can be easy on this trip to get carried away with the cycling and breakfasts but the focus is raising much needed funds and awareness for MND and Brain Tumour

Day 18: We had Pembrokeshire's relentless hills. A little behind on the breakfast front but had a couple home cooked crackers and I'm pleased to say that we've had our first world class breakfast. Congratulations to Caffi y Ragna!
