I just finished the required OCT certification/training about sexual abuse and the content was challenging to watch but I couldn't help but think about how difficult this training must be for someone who experienced this type of abuse themselves and no one knows they are victims.

I gave BECAUSE YOU ARE to the 6yo daughter of some of our oldest family friends and she went off to spot and read it all by herself - then again before bed time. She told her aunt that it made her feel “magical”. 🥹🥹🥹
