One of the most controversial “handled the ball” dismissals in Test history. #OnThisDay in 1979, Andrew Hilditch was given out in Perth after returning the ball to Sarfraz Nawaz, who appealed. Though Australia still won, the incident sparked backlash and was seen as revenge for Sikander Bakht’s earlier run-out by Alan Hurst.

@_hypocaust Prior to the 1st WBBL final at the MCG in 2016, there was a match between 2 youth teams (Lanning XI v Perry XI, I think). The opposing captains were Annabel Sutherland & Rachel Trenamen. Great to see Trenamen overcome her injury woes.
