@SureAsMel This whole story matches our most recent go w/ Airbnb (including the promise of a refund by phone, later ignored). A host no-showed, then lied to AirBnB that we'd checked in. They believed him even tho we had GPS tracking & a receipt from the Best Western where we stayed instead.
